Getting started
- Keep the display on. Plug the iPad in and turn on Settings › Display › Keep Awake. Faces dim automatically at night.
- Pick faces. Long-press any face, or open Settings › Faces, to enable the ones you want and give each its own wallpaper.
- Edit the dashboard. Long-press the Home face until the tiles wiggle, then drag, resize or add tiles with the + button.
- Swipe up from a face for the Home Screen of apps and widgets; swipe down to return.
HomeKit
- WallGlass shows the home selected in Settings › Home. Accessories must already be set up in Apple's Home app on the same Apple Account.
- Cameras and the doorbell pop-up need a home hub (HomePod or Apple TV) for remote and background access.
- If the doorbell pop-up does not appear, open Settings › Doorbell. It shows whether a doorbell service was found and the time of the last ring.
Home Assistant
- In Home Assistant, open your profile (bottom-left) and create a Long-lived access token. Copy it.
- In WallGlass, open Settings › Home Assistant. Tap Find on Network, or type the URL (for example
http://homeassistant.local:8123or your remote address). Paste the token. - Add a dashboard face: open the Faces gallery, tap Add Home Assistant Dashboard and choose the dashboard and view.
Self-signed certificates can be allowed in the same settings screen. The free plan includes one dashboard; Pro allows three.
WallGlass Pro
- Manage or cancel the subscription in iPadOS Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions.
- Bought it on another iPad? Settings › WallGlass Pro › Restore Purchases.
- Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
